Representative Engagements
- Creating an Innovative Team Redesign: A leading higher education institute reviewed its programs and offerings and wanted to create a best in class career development office. Rebecca helped them to identify strategies to become more in line with current student needs and future leadership. Rebecca lead the team through a process of brainstorming and idea generation, strategic priority selection, development of organizational focus and structure, role creation, talent selection criteria and success metrics to create an innovative new model for delivering excellent services.
- Organizational Restructure based on New Growth
Initiatives: Small footwear and apparel company was
searching to realign its sales force with new product and
marketing objectives. Rebecca advised the CEO and VP of
Sales on identifying key business, revenue and channel
objectives and helped them to develop a sales structure in
line with new goals. She also helped in the transition in
communicating new priorities, transitioning and preparing
key staff into new roles and ensuring client consistency
during changes.
- Career Transition: Rebecca coached a young
professional on a identifying a career path in line with her values
and long term career and personal objectives. Rebecca helped her to
identify her core strengths and weakness, develop strategies to
effectively approach her career search process and position herself
successfully for her new role. She also worked with her to identify
stretch assignments and a support structure to add to her skill sets
for future growth.
Professional Background
Rebecca started her own consulting practice in 2007 focused on growth businesses and improving organizational and effective individual leadership. Prior to that Rebecca was Director of Strategy and Business Development for Converse Inc, a Nike subsidiary. During her tenure she was responsible for domestic and international growth strategies, advising the executive team, and cross team mobilization. Prior to that role, Rebecca was a consultant at The Parthenon Group in Boston providing advisory services to a variety of clients. She has also held several start up roles in consumer focused businesses. Additionally, Rebecca currently works with Wharton MBA students advising them on career paths and professional development.
Education and Training
Rebecca received her MBA from The Harvard Business School and completed her undergraduate degree at Tufts University. She is a trained coach from The Coaches Training Institute (CTI). She is certified to administer the 16PF.
