The firm got its start in 1980, when Emmy Miller started a solo practice focused on organization development and change management. Ten years later, Emmy and her late husband, Dudley Phelps Cooke, co-founded Liberty Business Strategies to work with senior leaders on strategic business, technology, change management and leadership challenges. Today, Emmy lead clients engagements nationwide across a wide array of industries, including financial services, healthcare, consumer products, technology, manufacturing, retail, and professional services. Her work focuses on senior leaders and “high-potentials” to improve the leaders’ personal effectiveness and that of their teams and organizations.
